The Dense Media Separation magnetite (DMS) producing Broula DMS Mine is a previously producing magnetite and limestone mining project located 19km west of Cowra in NSW on Mining Lease 1616 with a JORC Code compliant mineral resource estimation of 1.13 Mt magnetite and 1.6 Mt limestone. The Broula DMS Mine is located on a fully granted mining lease permitted and approved for production of up to 170,000 tonnes of ore per annum. It has significant infrastructure, skilled labour and is located close to buyers.
The Mulholland Project consists of an exploration licence covering approximately 194 square kilometres between the Lachlan and Thompson Orogens of north-west NSW. The Company will explore the Mulholland Project with a focus on identifying and proving a mineral resource comprising of critical metals with a particular focus on REEs, nickel and tin.
The Bumbaldry Project consists of EL 8509 covering approximately 140 square kilometres located 19km west of Cowra in NSW and surrounding the Broula DMS Mine. The Company will explore the Bumbaldry Project with a focus on identifying and proving a mineral resource of copper and gold.
Karawara will recommence the Broula Magnetite Mine.
